Turning Bearable Bears into a official non profit!

Bearable Bears was created by Stephanie Holt. .The mission of Bearable Bears is to send children who have been severely hurt or traumatized the gift of a bear or stuffed animal. The only thing we ask is to send new, We just know that in times of great stress and trauma in children a bear can be a life long friend. We try to show by our actions that the world isn't filled with bad people and there are more good people then bad.
Bearable Bears has been a concept for Stephanie since the 1990's when she was a child. In the late 1990's she found herself sending bears to kids she had read about in the news. This summer she decided to make this a public group in order to help more kids in need We have sent out 10,000 bears worldwide.
It is very rewarding to know a bear you sent will be a friend and comfort to a child who is very sick or has been through trauma.
