| The Children's Garden at Crawford Park will reside on a 1/4 acre of park land. The plan includes: Six distinct raised bed planting areas for 1) Vegetables, 2) Herbs, 3) Butterflies, 4) Native plants 5) Medicinal 6) Shade plants to create an outdoor classroom designed to promote a better understanding of the natural world. COST We estimate that we will need to install running water - $2500 for plumbing $1000 for gravel path way, $1800 for raised beds, $600 for soil, $1300 for signage, $800 for plant material. $1000 for hired labor but a lion's share of the work will be done by volunteers. |
