Crafts for MDA Campers!

Hello!

My name is Julie Weiner. I was a camper at MDA Camp in Worcester, PA for 11 years. MDA Camp is a week-long overnight camp for kids with Muscular Dystrophy, taking place this year in the third week of June. I wanted to give back to the place that shaped me as a person (and come back because I miss it so much), and I am now the director of crafts! Camp makes an incredible impact on both campers' and counselors' lives. The camp is free for children with MD, and the counselors are volunteers. Therefore, funding comes from sponsors. MDA Philadelphia and I are working to fundraise for crafts, and a donation of $250 from my end will be enough to supply a week of fun crafts for the kids! My plan includes making dreamcatchers, decorating picture frames, beading, and slime! $250 is all I need to get enough supplies for the campers to make memorable, beautiful crafts that they will cherish for the years to come.
