COVID-19 Response Donation Drive for Krus na Ligas Residents

We are currently experiencing drastic changes in our socio-economic situations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and enhanced community quarantine in Luzon. The negative effects of this situation is currently being felt by various sectors of our community, most especially the marginalized.

UP ALYANSA and its member organizations would like to ask for your help in supporting over 7000 residents of Krus na Ligas, a barangay in Diliman, Quezon City located within the premises of the University of the Philippines Diliman. These residents have been concerned with their safety and loss of income as daily wage earners through construction work or public transportation services.

The proceeds of this fundraiser will be used to purchase basic necessities such as rice, canned goods, and noodles as well as hygiene kits for the community.
