COVID19 RELIEF-FOOD PARCELS

I am fundraising for The Hunger Project.

We are a humanitarian NGO based in Sandton, South Africa with a mission to bring hope by ending hunger and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable communities irrespective of their race, religion or geographical boundary

Our major program was lending a helping hand in March 2019 when an intense tropical cyclone Idai hit Mozambique. We assisted families affected by the storm in Beira with food, clothing, water and mosquito nets.

As you are no doubt aware that since the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic hit South Africa in February 2020 the crisis had a great negative impact on families experiencing poverty and food insecurity.

In collaboration with church communities we anticipate reaching five thousand families by hosting the food parcel program.

We kindly request you to make a commitment to support our annual appeal for donations with non-perishable foods such as canned foods, maize meal and sugar.

We can only meet our target and goals in reaching five thousand families with your assistance.
