Covid19-hope for affected farmers

Farmers were one of the silent frontliners that were greatly affected by the Covid19 outbreak here in the Philippines. Benguet a northern part and nearby provinces was one of it, They were not able to sell their crops because their buyers and stablishments that buys from them are closed.

Affected by the absence of transportation and other factors, some farmers would just throw their crops and some farmers would just donate them to nearby provinces w/o demanding something in return. The pain and struggle cant be denied because the hardworks, efforts and finances used for the past few months growing them are wasted.

Many of them don't even own the land they are farming. They use it by lease and their source of capital only come from loans from individual or banks. The hardest part was paying interest from loan without income. Most of them have farming as their only source of income.

I would like to knock on your heart. They really need your help here. If you can be able to help, it will be a new big hope for the hopeless farmers.

Im Floyd a local missionary and a mushroom farmer, Me and the ministry i belong has been dedicating and sharing farm income for the unfortunate and the needy in the remote areas through conducting medical and dental missions, feeding program, giving of foods, clothing and school supplies as our tools for evangelism . And we will see to it that whatever you share will be able to be distributed evenly.

We are raising funds which will help 100 unfortunate families and farmers, For them to start on their own, each will recieve the exact amount to start and farm again.

I believe this is an urgent need, for them to bring food at the table for their love ones and to help the economy to rise again. I know this cant be easily acquired in just a short period of time but we can manage to start one step at a time per family/farmer using whatever the amount of funds collected.

"You cannot love without giving and you cannot give without loving"
