Campaign Story
Hello Kind souls,
I have been studying in New Zealand for the past year and a half, doing my Masters in Applied Sciences. Due to the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, I am being repatriated to my country without being able to complete my degree.
My situation is currently very dire, as I had escaped domestic violence and come to study in New Zealand on a scholarship. Returning to Fiji this suddenly, I am now facing homelessness, because I cannot return to the home I had. I also have hospital bills to pay off for seeking psychiatric and medical help due to the stress and anxiety brought on by this crisis. I am now trying to heal, but also without options and at my wits end as to how to cope with the future, and now realize I need to seek help.
If I could re-enroll into university back home, this would give me a chance to complete my studies and salvage the hard work of the past 2 years, and also allow me to apply for hostel accommodation and have a safe place to stay while I get back on my feet.
Thank you in advance to all who can help. Even the smallest help will mean more than I can explain in words.
