Covid Relief for Orphans

Good day!

My name is Gwen Arriola from Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines. I am starting this campaign to help support an orphanage that my family has been supporting since 2014.

When I was only 18 years old my mother first introduced us(I and my siblings) to this foundation and the support did not stop ever since, most especially my mother. My mother’s support for this orphanage has cost her her marriage but still she didn’t stop supporting this orphanage.

St. Calabrian Children’s foundation has been surviving through donations and due to the pandemic resources has been low (not only for the foundation but for everyone here in the Philippines), these children need support more than ever, having no family to comfort them in this time of need the least we could do for them is help provide their basic need such as food and hygiene products.

I am raising 1,500 dollars because I will not only support this orphanage but as many orphanages your donations will reach. 2 dollars here in the Philippines could feed a child a 3 healthy balanced meals for a day.

Dr. Jose Rizal(the Philippine National hero) once said “Ang Kabataan ay ang Kinabukasan ng Bayan” which translates to “The Children is the Future of the Nation”. Help me make this children feel that although their family abandoned them there are people out there in this world that cares about them.
