COVID: Out of Work – Emergency Assistance

Hello everyone,

My name is Amaya and I am a 23 year-old college graduate. I have recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to pursue a job opportunity but due to COVID I have been unemployed for 8 weeks and unemployment has stopped. Like many others affected I have behind on bills, rent, and finding it hard to buy basic essentials for every day life. Any thing would help - I know that is cliche but any donation is a great one. I have reached out to many churches, non-profits, and even my landlord for resources, but everyone is spread thin.

I have found it hard to keep my head up during this time but I know we will all come out of this stronger than ever. I appreciate all of the support and kind words thank you for your contribution!
