TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS OF Peaberry Café and Catering

As many of you know or might not know we have recently moved to a brand spanking new premises end Feb. Planning a brand new coffee shop and pizza bar- together with a huge playground for Kids,- all of this in the lovely town of Malmesbury in the Swartland.

Planning to open on 21st March and putting most of my money into the layout expences for the new business… then the CORONA LOCKDOWN started!

AS a single mom this means that financially I won’t be earning anything during lockdown. Not only do I have to pay house rental but I now also have to pay rental for a business that hasn’t had one day of trading- I have been in the food industry foralmost 18 years now- and this is definitely the biggest challenge I have had to date. AS we understand school will only be resuming for my eldest in July ( I have 2 amazing boys aged 8 and 5 )- but in the meantime the expenses of school are still very real- together with other responsibilities such as water and electricity, Food, and such.

I have had a rollercoaster of emotions the last couple of weeks of trying to come to terms with how long this will take- how much money will it cost? – will my boys and my staff be ok???.

Going from a business woman to a full time mom / teacher / nurse / ATM / friend / mom & dad and everything else…

I have grown in GOD ! Trusting that this too shall pass and that BIGGER things are in store for me and the boys..- when I had a dream...

The response of all my friends and family for the new shop opening has been incredible… the excitement mounting to open… and then the wait….

The reason for me posting this go Fund Me is to support the dream of opening our shop. I have 4 employees that have been with me for a while- dreaming and working on this project and many catering projects for a while now.

THE TRUTH IS… I don’t know when this will pass- But pass it WILL!!

I am asking for much needed help in keeping our dream alive- in keeping my 4 amazing staff employed and keeping food on their tables as well as mine.. and to still be able to open our doors in the near future. I am still working hard under lockdown to get as much doneas I possibly can ! Doing menu design, painting chairs, getting contracts in place, applying for UIF and all the other things that I CAN DO UNDER lockdown. For as Long as you move …GOD can do something with you!

I have no doubt that GOD does conquer ALL and that our café will be a roaring success- as our catering has been the last 8 years.

We look forward to serving you amazing pizza and freshly roasted Coffee at our Peaberry Café @ 26 Piet Retief street Malmesbury, as soon as this lockdown is over and we can OPEN.
