COVID-19 Treatment for our friend Julissa & Juanito

Hello! We are the B Club from around the world.

Our friend Julissa (23 yrs old) and her brother Juanito (5 yrs old) from Colombia has been tested positive for COVID-19. Julissa and Juanito live on their own without any guidance of their parents. Julissa has been raising her brother on her own. Colombia doesn’t have much access to healthcare facilities when it comes to less fortunate people.

Being tested positive, she’s forced to quit her job and just stay at home to take care of her brother Juanito. She doesn’t have much savings and they’re just staying at home and doing home remedies in order to provide temporary relief to their symptoms.

Hospitalization is quite costly...

This is why we reach out to you for your support, as a request from a friend to a friend, and help Julissa and her little brother weather the storm.

콜롬비아에서 온 저의 친구 줄리사(Julissa 23세)와 그의 동생 화니또(Juanito 5세)는 최근 코로나19 양성 판정을 받았습니다. 줄리사와 화니또는 부모님 없이 서로를 의지하며 살아가고 있습니다. 부모님이 부재하여 줄리사 혼자 현재 화니또를 양육하고 있는 상황입니다. 콜롬비아에서는 의료 체계가 좋지 않아 공립 의료시설에서 치료 받기가 매우 힘듭니다. 그래서 사설병원에서 치료 받아야 하는데 그 비용이 매우 높아 여직 치료받지 못하고 있는 상황입니다.

그녀는 그녀의 동생 화니또와 함께 코로나 양성 판정을 받은 직후, 그녀가 일하던 직장에서 나와야 했습니다. 그리고 집에서 그의 동생 화니또를 돌봐야 했었습니다. 치료 받기에는 그녀가 가진 돈은 턱없이 부족했습니다. 그들은 집에서 자가격리하며 민간요법에 의지한채 버티고 있습니다.

콜롬비아의 병원비는 그들이 감당하기에는 너무 비쌉니다.
