As the novel Corona virus continues to take more lives around the world, We as the youth of Usagara village within Tanga City Tanzania east of the caost of Africa.Have took initiative in creating awareness and educating our villagers about the novel Corona virus (Covid-19) what it is, ways of prevention and control,via YouTube Kiswahili version on novel Corona virus Covid-19.
At the moment there has been no case of infection in my village but as the spread gets bigger we have decided to engage our selves on the ground and educate them on social distancing, sanitation, for this to happen there is an urgent need for sanitizers,face masks and teaching aid on ways of preventing the infection of Covid-19. Hence alot of villagers are illiterate and earn a living from mainly manual labour jobs for the men...the youth are in transportation using motorcycles (boda boda drivers) the women mainly deal with selling of small small foods,and perform their tasks as mothers and wives.
