Campaign Story
WHO has declared COVID-19 outbreak as global pandemic as it has spread in more than 100 counties. It seems unstoppable despite all governmental efforts. Pandemic is not a word to be taken lightly. The word itself defines the critical situation we are dealing with. We are raising a public appeal to come forward to contribute and support our cause to stop the spread of COVID -19 in India.
The Corona Virus has deeply effected Kolkata City. The lock-down imposed around the country is certainly required to combat this Virus however a large number of the city's population consist of daily wage workers who find themselves in a position wherein they are unable to feed themselves & the members of their families. our volunteers across the city are reaching out to citizens to contribute food packets consisting of Rice, Atta, Cooking oil, Dals Etc.
In coordination with like - minded citizens we aim to source various rations, package them and supply them to the police stations who in turn will distribute the packets amongst the worst effected neighbourhoods & communities.
