My name is David Codjoe. Am 40 yrs old, married with two lovely kids. I work with a fishing company in Ghana as a supply chain supervisor.
I love and care about humanity and can't stand it when vulnerable people suffer. As you all know, Covid 19 virus is now globally and Ghana's confirmed cases are rising by the day. Am in Accra which is the epicenter of the pandemic in Ghana. To curtail the spread of the virus, the government has given a directive for a partial lockdown of the city and other parts that has seen a rapid rise in the number of confirmed cases. This partial lockdown means most people can't go to work and the majority of Ghanaians are those that actually have to work for the day before they get something to eat for the day. You can imagine what this partial lockdown is doing to them. Some money was set aside by the government to feed these people but those in authority that are in charge of these programs are playing politics with it. People are returned without getting food because they don't have ID cards that shows that are members of the ruling party. Others too are organizing these programs haphazardly, thereby putting the people at risk of contracting this Covid 19 virus. No social distancing and no proper control to the extent that people even fight over food. I have tried to help a few friends in my own small way but it not enough because I don't have that much.
Am here today because I really need your help, no amount is too small. There are rumors that the city, Accra may go into total lockdown so help is needed sooner rather than later. Am appealing to anyone reading this to please help me to help the needy and vulnerable in my locality and as far as I can reach. God will richly bless you for giving for a Worthy course.
