Covid-19 fundraising for our parents, Felixberto and Juliet Japay.

Update posted by Imee Mondala On Nov 03, 2021

We have now received their outstanding hospital bill.

We are now seeking ways and help on paying their outstanding hospital bill which totaled 619509.73. This is less their philhealth and senior citizen discount already. Please refer to picture below.

We are on the process of getting a loan which hopefully when approved will pay at least half of the outstanding bill. We are therefore asking your generosity once again in any amount that you can help us. Total medical expenses paid already reached 502,300 php Again, we know this is a hard time for everyone so we are truly grateful to any amount you can extend to our family. Thank you so much and God bless.

Our Dad went to be with our Lord and Savior at 12:19am Philippine time, Oct 30. Please continue to pray for our family especially to our mom who is still not in the safe zone. We give thanks to the Lord for giving our dad 73 fruitful years of His goodness.

Jesus said: ..., “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies" John 11:25

Thank you so much for all your help and support. May the LORD GOD richly bless you for showing kindness to our family.

The hospital can guarantee oxygen to our parents until tuesday next week.

Their recent x-ray lab results shows improvement for the both of them. Praise God.

The doctor confirmed that our dad had a cardiac arrest thats why he couldnt open his eyes, his blood pressure went down drastically and was so weak in a short period of time.

Today is my mom’s birthday. We thanked God for giving her another year.

Dad started NGT today because he is not able to swallow his food and medicines.

The hospital has problem with their supplier for oxygen. They can only guarantee that our parents will have oxygen until Saturday and have recommended transfer to another hospital in Ormoc.

We thanked God for another day.

This morning, our mom startet NIV (non invasive mechanical ventilator)

We were able to buy one tocilizumab today worth 68k php and the doctor administered it to our mom. We still need one for our dad.

Their O2 is improving.

But X-ray still shows white spots.

This evening:

Dad was able to sit down now.

Mom was able to smile again.

We give God all the glory for this good news.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and financial help.
