COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund

The COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent quarantine of communities have caused many households to lose their livelihood and income.CDS Kenay is calling for cash donations to provide food and medicine supply for 100 of the most vulnerable families in Kenya. The campaign is targeting Cheptis town, Kimaswa, Kang'a nga, Chepkube markets, Schools- Cheptais primary, Cheptais boys, Presenten Primary, Cherendio SDA Primary, Cherendio SDA Primary, Cheptais SDA Primary, Kipsis Girls, Kipsis Primary, Kimaswa Primary, Chemuses RC Primary, Wasio Primary, Kapesoi Primary, Kaamaata Peimary, Kamosong Primary, Chesiro secondary and Chesiro primary schools.

There will be 3 meetings for 30 people on each above schools and the total amount of participants will be 90. We are providing 15$ amount of food and medicine for one participant and total will be 1350$ due to 90 participants.

Training of COVID_19 ( community awareness - 12 volunteers for 3 days. Estimated - 1800$)

We have to begin this campaign before schools in Kenya started (4th of January 2020). Therefore we appreciate all of your kind donations for CDS Kenya to protect their community from COVID-19 pandemic situation.
