Please help me! I’m really innocent!

I really need help, I have no choice but to search online to see if any kind soul could help out abit.. i staying in a 1 room flat at marsiling block 3 with my mum, sister and 3 nephew.. I’m unable to fork out this fees for court fine. If I do not pay the fine by June 16, I will need to go to jail. I have already loan from all my friends and family to pay for lawyer fees of $3500... really broke already.

I was charge for “illegal bookmarking”, but please hear me out. The bookie give me a login website for me to buy 4D weekly. So I buy it for myself and buy it for my mum. In the website, you could sort it out with names, so I put my name with some 4D numbers and my mum names with some 4D numbers. Basically, I’m not a bookie! I just bought 4D for my mum.

I happen to strike 1st price and it was $4000, so the bookie called me and ask me for my bank account, I was scared because I normally do not have such amount in my bank, so I requested that if possible, just pass me cash. So he agreed.

On the day itself, one guy came below my block and pass me the cash, when he was passing it to me, suddenly there is 4 CID came out and handcuff us, I was shock and speechless. We went to cantoment and took statement. So I told the police the whole story, and they ask me how I buy 4D? From message , calls or website? I said website and I log in for him to see also.

At first he is ok, then suddenly say why I help my mum to buy? Do I know that helping family member to buy is counted as bookmarking and taking illegal bets for the syndicate? I was like.. huh... I only help my mum buy, I don’t earn money from this, I also never go out ask people buy 4D, the account clearly stated “Adam”, “Mum”. 2 betting on that account only.

He is very strict and mentioned that he will charge me for bookmarking, anything can just talk to the judge. Sigh, so I went home without telling my mum, I told her I went out for the whole night. I search online to look for a lawyer, because I knew that I really not taking in bets for a living, it is unjustified..

It have been 14months since I reported to state court monthly, the judge still gave me the sentence for taking in bets. The fine was 20k-200k, my lawyer manage to help me to get fine the minimum 20k only. And fined another 2k for betting as a buyer. Sums up to 22k. The lawyer also manage to ask for installment and judge only approve 2months. I have to make payment on 15may and 15june..

I really need your kind soul to help me out, I’m 25 this year, I don’t want to go to jail and I’m earning money for my family, my mum needs me to take care also, I don’t want her to worry also... if I go to jail, it’s the end of my life..
