Costume Group Charity Work

I am looking to raise money to purchase a costume kit that requires assembly and finishing. The costume is then inspected and approved for entry into the 501st costuming charity group. Once approved I can participate in official "troops". Charity events in the Anchorage, AK area regularly include Star Wars day at the children's hospital. A Barnes & Noble reading day, charity walks and other school and community events. Their is no personal gain for me oher than having the costume to wear for these charity events and the joy of making someone else's day a little bit better.
