Costa Rica Mission Trip

Greetings!

Countryside Christian Church is a small, rural, country church in Rock Island County, Illinois. In our church's 160 year existence, we have never been on a foreign mission project. This is a way to stir interest in our church for overseas mission work, interest in our youth/college ministry, and interest in personal ministry.

We will be working with Bryan and Beth Tatum (Mission Society/Conexion) who have been missionaries in Costa Rica since 2009. Our project in Costa Rica is still to be determined, but we will be working with children, youth, and adults in economically distressed communities there. We will be spreading the gospel to whomever is open to listening, while serving those in need to the fullest of our ability.

The costs are estimated to be around $1500 per person which includes materials/resources, room/board, and transportation costs. At this time, we are expecting to take a group of 10 with us. All gifts are needed prior to June 1, 2017.
