In April 2018, my daughter drove her husband over 500 miles to self-surrender himself to a federal fci prison for 51 months. Her father and I rented her a vehicle to make the trip. She had very little money and It was a very exhausting, emotional situation. After saying their goodbyes, she left.

Since she was unable to afford a hotel room, she then began the long drive home. She suddenly felt disoriented and like she was going to pass out. Not wanting to endanger herself or others on the road she pulled over and parked in front of a business then immediatly blacked out. At some point police entered the rental vehicle and arrested her and carried her to a car. She was going in and out of consciousness and vaguely recalls the events.

No ambulance or medical assistance was contacted. And she was transported somewhere. She doesn't know where she was taken. Again she was in and out of consciousness. She recalls opening her eyes after feeling extreme pressure below her waist and saw 2 or more men in a room and she was on a table and her clothes had been removed. She saw no females. She again went unconscious. Then the next thing she remembers is waking up about 48 hours later in the county jail. She was denied medical assistance and not allowed to use the phone for 2 weeks. The reason being explained to her was the privilege had been revoked. However other women were allowed to make phone calls up front by the office.

While in custody she went before the judge and told her bond was $50,000. She didn't know her charges. She wasn't given anything that clearly listed any charges against her.

After already having to make one trip there myself with her 84 yr old fatrher suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia, because I had to get the rental car out of impound, I was barely able to bond her out. She had been there for over 3 weeks. The bondsman accepted payments. We were struggling to make ends meet and just filled bankruptcy and our house went into foreclosure.

Finally she made it home safely to her 10 year old daughter. There was a court date of June 18 she had to appear. She traveled there for rtgat court date and request a public defender. She still didn't know her charges. They gave her a return date of August 20. She again made the long trip. She attempted to speak to her public defender he yelled and was very rude in front of the entire courtroom which was full of people. She then proceeded to fire him since she was told ," speak when spoken to". There was no way to communicate with the public defender and she felt that would not allow fairness. She then received a call on Friday Nov.2, that she had court on Mon. The 5th. On a moment's notice she made the journey again only to find out there was no court that day due to voting. She was told to return next Monday.

So she took the opportunity to inquire with several attorneys in that area A few attorneys hung up on her after hearing her name which was odd. She left a few msgs then returned home.

She started researching the county she was arrested in and found a link that listed her charges. This was the first time she knew what she was being charged with. Horrified, she read though 18 felony charges. They were absurd and made no sense. Luckily she ealized Monday was Veterans day and not being able to contact anyone and ask, she assumed court would be Tuesday, Nov 13. So again she made the long trip. None of the attorneys she had called had returned her call. She called a few and was told there was a conflict of interest and they could not represent her and was hung up on. She was very confused and frustrated as she went before the judge that ordered her to retain counsel or get remanded into custody and given a week. She saw her bondsman and asked him for help. He returned with an attorney. This attorney actually listened to her for approximately an hour. He was in shock. And very interested in her case. She asked him how much his rates were and was told $9000 retainer and $300 an hour. He told her he would contact her tomorrow he had to be in court somewhere in an hour. He was having one of the head sheriffs arrested for numerous charges. The same county had just had one of it's judges removed and charged with several charges. It was becoming more apparent the whole place was corrupt. And she started to panic. She started to head home and was followed by a yellow box truck which stayed behind her for about an hour til it got dark. Then the truck flew up on her, put his brights on and tapped the rear bumper attempting to run her off the road. She floored it and got away. It happened again 20 min later.

The next day she contacted the attorney she had spoken to and she told him what Happened on the drive home, he told her he would take the case for $3000. And she would not have to appear since it was becoming dangerous.

If she does not come up with $3000 by November 26, she will be arrested and put back in the place indefinitely where this nightmare began. Please help save her life. The charges are completely bogus and if convicted she faces 21 yrs. I can provide a copy of charges upon request. I have not revealed my daughters name since this is an open, ongoing case.
