A 25 year old teacher from South Africa, I am a Left Hemiplegic who has lived with Cerebral Palsy since birth. My left leg is much weaker, resulting in a severe disfigurement in my left foot. This means that I walk with a limp. It is extremely painful. I'm now asking for help because I'm not insured, I've lost my job, and I can only resume my teaching job once I've made my health a priority. I am deteriorating quickly and basic tasks have proved extremely painful. I need a corrective surgery which involves surgeons taking bone from my right hip and using that to build an ankle for me in my left foot (my bones have disintegrated). Donations will go toward the surgery, as well as expenses during my two month recovery period. I also have a baby boy I'm supporting. I would really appreciate any help that comes my way. Much love, Nelly.
