Corrective Jaw Surgery Underbite

hi my name is Lisa and I’m 18 years old. I currently have a underbite and sometimes it hurts to eat, chew and even sleep a certain way. I went to a orthodontics about a month or two ago and I was told that since my underbite is so bad, I have no choice but to get surgery. Usually people would have their parents and family their with them through it and help out but I currently don’t have that. My father passed when I was 4 and I have no idea where my mom is. I have thoughts in my head all the time that I’m never gonna get this surgery. I rarely go around anybody because I just don’t have the confidence to do so, I always got made fun of.
