Startup Capital required for a Corporate Internship & Student Mentoring Solution

I am seeking Capital to complete the design and development of my business as outlined below and to be able to proceed to the next level to be able to enter the market place. I have done extensive market research and have substantial interest from Students as well as the South African Corporate Sector to be confident in the success of my business.

I had a diverse career with over 15 years experience in the Recruitment & HR Sector.

  • Prior to starting UNI-Mentor.co.za I headed up IndigoCube’s HR Solutions business unit as Business Manager for South Africa from 2012 to 2014
  • From 2010 to 2012 I was Head of Business Development at Jobs.co.za – responsible for Sales, Client Relations, Customer Care and the Helpdesk
  • I also had 10 years with CareerJunction – at that stage South Africa’s leading job portal and was also responsible for CareerJunction’s UAE Office in Dubai during 2009
  • Prior to that, I was also involved for 3 years at Emmanuels Recruitment doing Business Development as well as Specialized Recruitment
  • I also had exposure of 5 years in sales in the mining and construction sector and 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry

I would like to now take this opportunity to outline some of the key features being developed for the UNI-Mentor System.

The main area of focus will be to position the UNI-Mentor System as outlined in the Proposal Document to Tertiary Educational Institutions’ Students, with the option to also introduce this to Secondary Educational Institutions as well as all participating Subscribing Corporate Companies who would like to make use of the system as an Internal Mentorship System for their existing Staff Members.

Corporate Internship & Student Mentoring

Every student has the potential for greatness. The problem is that tertiary institution lecturers do not have the time to nurture every willing student to fulfill their true potential.

This responsibility is best given to a more experienced Person as a Mentor – under the watchful eye of a teacher or lecturer. The setting of goals and objectives together with a Mentor creates a willing obligation and responsibility for the Mentee to not let them down and to perform well above one’s previous benchmarks of performance.

The blossoming of a student under the Mentorship of their Mentors is a sight to behold. The willingness and ability to learn from someone with more experience, who leads by example, is so much more effective than simply being taught.

The UNI-Mentor Program

The UNI-Mentor Program has been designed to improve the skills, knowledge, abilities and results of both Mentors and Mentees. Those who participate in the UNI-Mentor Program from University Level into their Employment will become natural leaders. Employers will rank them highly and continue their Mentoring Program process in the workplace.

The UNI-Mentor Program Is The Solution

The UNI-Mentor Program is offered to students at tertiary institutions at no cost to ensure South Africans become a global force to be reckoned with. These Students can register themselves on the UNI-Mentor Program as Mentees seeking Mentors to assist them in their future development.

The UNI-Mentor Program is also available to Corporate Companies at a minimal Subscription Fee to implement and use to Mentor Students who have registered on the UNI-Mentor Program as Mentees. At the same time, Participating Corporate Subscribers also have the option, at an additional monthly Subscription Fee, to make use of the UNI-Mentor Program for their own Internal Mentorship of Employees.
