Coronavirus Pandemic – Fighting for Lives on the Streets

With the recent updates from the province of Alberta in procedures and closures due to Covid-19, the majority of Not-for-profit, Churches and Charity organizations have closed their doors, leaving people without their last resources for help

However, we at Street Church are commanded to bring Hope, to the hopeless and to assist those that are in need! We cannot and will not abandon, desperate and straggling people in our city, Calgary!

We believe that during various crises, calamities and difficulties, the Real Church of Jesus Christ is to Shine and Work providing the very needed and life saving support to our fellow citizens! This is our time to manifest that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Living God is bigger, then the plagues and viruses!

During this time of panic and confusion, we need to provide people with the solid, clear truth and spiritual and physical support! This is not the time to hide, quit and run away, but to push forward, believing that God has everything under control!

We are looking not to shut our doors abandoning the needy, but to expand our services! At this very moment we are on the streets, four times a week, Mondays and Fridays 5 PM, Wednesdays 11:30 AM and Sundays 1PM. On Saturdays, 10 AM we provide Church Services inside the building, including free lunch and dry food hampers for people to take home.

The task is great and if we are to increase our efforts to save lives and assist the poor, with our services during this calamity, we need your HELP!

One organization cannot do it! One Church cannot do it! The problem is too big and we need your participation! Please, help us, so we can continue helping others! Become part of the Last Harvest and remember that during times like this, the real character of a man comes to light!

The people, we mostly work with are the higher risk, because of their compromised immune system! Some will die, some will get very sick. For many, this is life and death situation and not just the food and shelter problem!

Let us remind all of them and to each other, that there is Hope, Peace, Freedom in the Name of Jesus Christ and Healing in His precious Blood!

Lets together bring them the Gospel of the Kingdom!
