Campaign Story
Kolkata, NI | Community.
As the coronavirus has spread worldwide, however, the mood in Bhutan has become increasingly serious. The border closure is aimed in part at Nepali workers abroad—who are now stuck in foreign countries with little aid from their governments. We are raising funds for Bhutan people ( Located beside country India)
So far, most citizens appear to be observing the lockdown—in part because the police have been strict enforcers, including delivering beatings. In a country where most people live on less than $1,000 a year, and which is highly dependent on tourism, the economic impact is likely to be brutal—but no measures have yet been announced. We are seeking helping hands across the globe to support us with the best possible ways by not only through currency but also through necessary items for daily uses or you may also send your used clothes, shoes and other used items which in any ways no longer usable for you. The Bhutanese people are starving due to hunger and is likely to be in a big disaster. We have several relief spots available in the country for providing relief to the people being affected.
