Coronavirus Response Fund: The vulnerable and poor

The COVID-19 has made an unprecedented harshness in human history that requires humanity save itself as a single family. Your donation to this fund will help us stop Corona's spread and protect the poor.

CHALLENGE: The present crisis threatens everyone's life, but it has devastated the lives of the poor who are already vulnerable living in extreme poverty. Andhra Pradesh is still registering between 8000-10000+ fresh cases every day.

We work among the most neglected and ignored indigenous and dalit communities in Kurnool district - the most chronic drought hit district in Andhra Pradesh. So far, we are able to contribute essential goods to just 427 families, such as vegetables, milk products, supplementary nutrition to kids and pregnant/feeding women and sanitary items. The need is more friends.Our target is nine more villages reaching out to 1647 families - 4977 people.

The families we work in are extreme poor, living in remote isolated villages. Families depended on daily wages for everyday meal, and now are at risk. There are 167 school dropped out kits in our literacy centers. Your kind donation - the cost of a coffee- saves a child's life and may feed a family for two weeks.
