Coronary Bypass and Kidney Transplant for Von John

Good day! I am Von John V. Maramot, 35 years old, a loving husband to my wife, and resident of Unit 302, Building 2, Residencias de Manila Condominium, Jesus street, Pandacan, Manila, Philippines.

I am writing this because I would like to seek your help for any financial assistance you could offer to help me with my medical treatments. Here is my story.

A couple of years ago, after going through an annual physical examination, I learned that the creatine level in my blood is already way above the normal levels. The doctor immediately recommended that I undergo hemodialysis as soon as possible. Shocked, I went to the National Kidney and Transplant Institute in Quezon City to ask for a second opinion. The result sadly remained the same. For 2 years since then, I had been religiously following a strict renal dietary plan to suppress the remaining 10% function of both my kidneys but unfortunately my body had already taken its limit--I couldn't urinate anymore and my whole body started to swell because of the build-up of toxins and liquids in my blood. This was when I started my hemodialysis treatment.

Right now, I'm on stage 5 of this Chronic Kidney Disease, the End Stage Renal Failure. There's no other option but for me to go through a kidney transplant operation. But before I could do this, I needed to get clearance from my cardiologist. Few months ago, while obtaining the cardio clearance, I found out that there were a lot of blockage in the arteries of my heart that even undergoing angioplasty surgery would not suffice. The only solution for me to obtain my kidney transplant clearance would be to undergo a coronary bypass graft surgery after an angiogram procedure. And these would cost me and my wife a lot of money. To make matters worse, I am a type 1 diabetic patient, an illness I inherited from my parents who both had already passed away.

I opened this account with the help of my friends to humbly ask for your help for any financial assistance that you can extend. The Coronary Bypass surgery alone would cost us a million pesos and another million and a half for my kidney transplant. All in all, including maintenance in the new few months after the operations, I would be needing 3 Million Pesos.

Words cannot express how grateful I am that I have a loving wife, supportive family, and great friends. I know that God is a good God and He will help me in finding solutions to better my physical condition. And through Him he will lead me to your generous hearts. My body maybe failing me but my spirit remains strong and courageous for this battle.
