Cornelia Liebenberg was born with a degenerative visual condition, that impaired her eyesight from the age of 9. She is an extremely talented, committed individual and fiercely independent, despite the fact that she is classified as blind.
Cornelia lives on her own in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs, and enjoys the committed service of Nyla, her guide dog on a daily basis. But for her triathlon dreams, Nyla cheers from the sidelines.
Cornelia runs, swims and cycles with different (human) partners for various events, but for this challenge, her partner in crime is Celia Pienaar. They need a tandem bike to participate in Iron-man (WOMAN!!) competitions and other competitive events. Her sight is set on World Champs (pardon the pun, but her sense of humour is part of the ambitious package)!
We are standing together as friends to help Cornelia in her cause and want to challenge you to contribute to her World Champ Dreams!
