Campaign Story
Corina was a loving girl who brought endless kindness, humor, and joy to her friends, teachers, and family. Corina was president for her school's student body, and was set to star in the role of Wendy for her school's musical theatre production of Peter Pan in her eighth grade year, when she passed away suddenly on January 8, 2018 at her home in San Mateo, CA. Her passing was unexpected and the exact causes are not yet known; Corina was a type 1 diabetic, and this condition may have contributed to her sudden passing.
Our Mission
To honor Corina, our mission is to promote what Corina demonstrated in her life: outstanding kindness and generosity of character; the joyful pursuit of excellence in academic, artistic and community work; and an unbounded love for the performing arts in the form of live musical theatre.
Through this foundation, we will honor Corina's legacy by supporting students to reach their full potential in two areas. One: to build character and leadership potential through experiences that develop compassion, self-awareness, and creative thinking. Two: to support students to grow in the performing arts through experiencing live musical theatre performances.
