Coordinator/Educator for our rural Community Garden

Update posted by Cameron Rolle On Feb 11, 2016

The funding obtained through this campaign will go directly towards a paid Community Garden Coordinator. Once we get close to $3,000, with the addition of additional grant money received we are planning on advertising the position. One could combine this with other exciting jobs in Salmon, like the recently posted Farmer's Market Coordinator Position (also a $3,000 stipend for 250-300 hours of work), or Raft guiding, Conservation work, etc. So many opportunities abound!

Cameron was the Garden Cordinator last year in this sweet local community garden. She's moving on to other work, but we're hoping to sustain this position for the future children and folks learning and growing food. Please join us in making a difference for this dear teeny town. No donation is too small!

The Salmon Community Garden has evolved several times since I have lived in Salmon. It would be great to have a stable mission and direction while enabling folks to learn how to grow their own healthy food. I full time coordinator would enable that. Please consider supporting this effort.
