Cooperatives: They Work will provide cooperative enterprises with an opportunity to present their businesses to the public for a period of one week. The event will be interactive , and will be accessible 24 hours a day
All anyone needs to attend is an Internet connection and a laptop, smart phone, netbook or any tool that can access the Internet. The Show takes place in virtual space and will be open 24/7 during its duration. People can attend from anywhere they can connect to the Internet.
Purposes:
1- To enhance and promote cooperatives as worthy enterprises that add value to the communities where they are located.
2- To create an environment where people can learn what cooperatives are and how they function.
3- To provide an opportunity for people to meet others who are interested in forming a cooperative enterprise and enable them to move forward in their mutual endeavour.
