Cooper Wayne

Cooper Wayne made his grand entrance on December 22 in Corbin, and it wasn’t at all like we had planned. Don’t get me wrong, he’s perfect….but he’s having a little trouble. He was transferred to UK the day he was born because we weren’t sure what was wrong. He wasn’t breathing well and his blood sugar was low. UK discovered that he has an AVM. It’s a cluster of vessels in his little baby brain that are making his blood travel to different places than it should. His little heart and liver are bigger than they should be and he’s going to have to have surgery. Right now, he’s at Norton Children’s Hospital. There’s a surgeon there that will be able to help him and we’re very thankful, but mom and dad need some help. They’re going to have to stay away from home for a while and money is tight. We know timing is bad because of the holidays, but any help for Kyleigh and Nathan is appreciated more than you’ll ever know.
