Cooper David Gaylord Griffin Care Fund

Cooper David Gaylord Griffin Care Fund has been formed to help pay for the costs of caring for this uniquely amazing and beautiful ferral "Bush Baby" feline! (We call him a bush baby because he grew up the first few months of his life running from bush to bush in the apartment area where his human Mommie lives, and the description fits him perfectly!) The funds will be used to help pay for his food, medical and grooming costs, which have proven to be quite a challenge for his Mommie! He's decided he really likes living indoors with his new human Mommie as long as he can still run faster than the wind and supervise the weather, animals and people all around the house from his perches in the front and back bedroom window thrones! He's always King of the House and his Mommie can only touch him whenever he decides it's ok! He loves to be snuggled, held and kissed by his Mommie on occasion, but doesn't want the public to see his soft side! You know the saying is so true - dogs have owners, but cats have servants - he knows THAT'S the truth!! He says that hair brush thing - and the comb - are ridiculous instruments of torture, and his Mommie is forbidden to use them on him! His gorgeous long-haired coat has unfortunately become heavily matted all over his back, and although he's graciously allowed his Mommie to cut away a few of the mats, poor thing - he still has huge heavy mats all over his sides and back. Because of the need for the shaving (I have priced the local groomers for this - it ranges from $130 - $180!), this is the primary beginning focus for this fund.
