Campaign Story
Hello everyone,
My name is Nikhiltej Dandu. I have a Bachelors in Computer science and Postgraduate certificate in Wireless Networking. I have been working on a project which I call Cooking Automation Project.
I like to make everyones cooking life easy.
Introduction
In our day to day life one of the routine activity is cooking. Everyone like to have the food served readily when they get home from work and we will have problems when we have to manage work and cooking.
- Just imagine how fine it will be if the food is ready when u get home?
- Just imagine how good it will be when you get your favorite food ready with a simple touch of a button?
- Imagine when unexpected good friends visit you and you can chit chat with them at the same time offer them a dinner...!!!
- There are many machines like pizza vending machines etc which are implementing vending of freshly cooked food.
- But cooking automation project is all about getting that into daily life without changing your recipes.
1. A machine cooking food...!!! We will be bored of eating same machine made food daily...!!!!
2. Is it totally Automatic??? What if I am in a mood to make my food for the day?
Point : We all like cooking in free time, and some love it when its a day off.
CAP : CAP have the availability of 1 Electrical and 1 Gas based Stoves to manually cook when you wish to.
3. Machine...!!! So it uses canned vegetables? or should i chop the veggies every time I ask it to cook food for me?
Point : We all like fresh veggies in our food. 50% of the time in cooking goes to preparation like chopping.
CAP : All you have to do is load your veggies once in a while ( once or twice weekly ) depending on the normal refrigeration time of those veggies. CAP stores them, chop them and use them when needed. ( We recommend regular checks, daily if possible which takes 2-5 mins daily Vs 2-5 hrs cooking )
4. Will it clean dishes too?
Point : Do i need to open it and clean the machine every time I use it?
CAP : CAP cleans what it uses inside. All you will be left with are the vessels you used to cook (automatically delivered to a access area) and ofcourse the plates which you had the food.
Point : You are saying it will do this, it will do that... What else it will do...!!!
CAP : It do lot of things inside to get your food ready... and i think you are not asking about that. Jokes apart, we have these on paper now, and we are thinking possibilities of making variants in it. As we know more features will make it costly affair and we don't want to make it so. Anything and everything possible without making huge price difference will be added. Suggestion, Ideas and Feedback's are always welcomed.
My professors promised help in the form of manpower and labs to develope my project. All i need is the funds for the components.
