Contributing to my dream university degree: Fashion design.

Hello! My name is Yousef, and I am from Amman-Jordan, currently living in Budapest to do my bachelor degree, but in fact, I am doing my degree in international business economics, as this was the desire of my parents primarily. As I grew up with a very indescribable passion towards fashion, I always wanted to do my university degree in fashion design, and become a certified fashion designer, and it always been my ambition to study fashion im either Paris or Amsterdam. But unfortunately, due to financial difficulties, and the very high tuition fees of fashion schools and the very high living expenses in countries that have the best fashion schools, I was not able to make it to any of those fashion schools I always dreamt of studying at, besides my parents refusing to send me to a fashion school solely without having any other supporting BA degree.

And as I grew up with a very strong passion, I taught myself few techniques in design, I was able to construct some dresses from online tutorials with the assistance of my grandma as she used to me a dressmaker. Therefore, I have a very solid background in fashion, which I believe makes me qualified for fashion schools

However, the right time has just became, and I decided, since I’m a year away from graduating from the business school, to start fundraising for my dream bachelor degree in fashion design. Unfortunately, I looked up the schools I’m considering applying to and there are no scholarships for fashion schools as most of them are private schools, so that’s why I’m doing a fundraising campaign. As I have done my research very well, I found out that the best fashion schools that matches my expectations are in Paris, and in Amsterdam. In total, the amount needed for funding, is basically the tuition fees for three years of bachelor degrees and monthly living costs in either Amsterdam or Paris, as well as the application fees and enrolment fees. As it has been always my dream to study this field, and I had a great talent in designing, my happiness is only completed if I study fashion design at one of the universities I found most suitable for me.
