I work in the IT industry in Cebu City, Philippines. I've been wanting to pursue higher degree programs in my field but I find it hard to push forward given some bad decisions in during my undergraduate courses that make me unqualified for financial aid / scholarships.
I have committed to make a push on pursuing higher degrees and I am looking at online programs in websites like Coursera and edX.
Currently, I am very interested in taking a MicroMasters program with edX about Cybersecurity offered by Rochester Institute of Technology. My concern is that I do not have spare funds to work on this program. It will take me the whole amount indicated to continue this 6-course program.
I believe in second chances. I believe that I am over the issues I had earlier in my academic life and I intend to make good on this learning path.
