Nissii Christian Academy has been accepting many children that are left orphans and vulnerable due to HIV/AIDS , insecurity and other forms of illness attributed to poor and inadequate health facilities around Mbita, Kenya. Currently, the school has a total 120 children, running from Pre-school to Grade 3.

Right now, the school are planning to build a proper designed, permanent and safe classrooms for the students and a pump for the well as soon as possible.

The main issues of the current classrooms are:
1) The structure of the classroom is not stable and tough enough since it is only based on short and thin wood with iron sheet.
2) At the same time, it is also very dark inside of the classroom during the day time due to the poor design.
3) We also need a pump to get the water from the well so that every students can get the water safely and fastly.

For one classroom, we need about 400,000 Kenya Shillings (about 4,000$) and a pump is about 4500 Kenya Shillings(450$). In the future, we plan to build 8 proper classroom for Grade 1 to Grade 8.
