Hi! My name is Eddie Aboga and I am a Petroleum Engineering Student from Batangas State University and I need your help to fund the potential of my research to help the community.

Earthquake is a natural phenomenon that cannot be predicted and cannot

be stopped. Humans have been thinking of a way on how to survive an earthquake like preparing a first-aid kit and on-the-way bag that contains foods and water. Seismograph was also invented that has the function to detect and record earthquakes but with all these invention and preparedness, death is still unlikely present. Just like the earthquake in Japan last September 6, 2018 at exactly 3:08 a.m. with 6.7 of magnitude that leads to seven people dead and 30 people missing. This type of earthquake is the most dangerous of all because of the reason that it occurs at the time where most of the people are sleeping and unaware of their surroundings. The researcher, come up with a way to somehow help resolve and lessen the death toll of earthquake. We construct an Earthquake Sensor Alarm that has the function to detect earthquake and also to alarm the people around the affected area at the same time.

The device was already approve and we already created a prototype which was approved and commended by our research adviser. If you would like to help more than donation and help to improve the functionality of our research, kindly send me an email [email protected] and I will gladly answer any of your question and accept any help that you wanted to.

The Problem

The main problem that was identified through various observation and researches when an earthquake occurs is the lack of awareness when it is happening. Although we, humans, has the ability to sense that the ground is moving, it doesn't help that much. Whenever it occurs, we always ask someone near us if they feel the earthquake too, which is a little problematic since when this natural phenomenon occurs, every second counts.
