Campaign Story
I have spent the last few weeks down here in Ghana and my eyes have been opened to the privileges we have at home.
My fellow volunteers have done extraordinary work in the local village, we are currently working on constructing a primary school for the local kids as they are currently being educated in a glorified shed. In their current school there is no walls between classes only flimsy partitions as seen in the pictures, there's no running water and there is a designated corner of the courtyard (in pictures) where the kids can go to the bathroom so there's a constant pungent smell of urine around the school.
I have been working alongside locals with the construction work, it's a real community effort to try and put these children in the best possible environment in which they can prosper. This project is being solely funded by the volunteers and the generous donations that they received. I am setting up this fundraiser as an effort to gather any small amounts of money you would be willing to spare to help these kids. Any small amount goes a very long way over here so it would be greatly appreciated by both me and the kids.
Thank you.
