Hello, my name is Orfeas, I'm 19 years old and I just got back to Greece from my construction volunteering project at Tanzania Arusha at the public school of Burka. I volunteered for a period of two weeks and I was able to help with the renovation of the ruined exteriors of the school. My only concern was and still is that I didn't help in the creation of a project that will practically help the school in the long run.
That's why I thoroughly scouted all the schools in order to find a new project to raise money for that will directly satisfy the needs of the kids. I concluded with one of the local builders that we should start building on of the demolished, unused classrooms, I then talked with Mr. Ernest, the principal of the school and I asked him to give me a list with all the necessary materials and prices. I will upload the list that the builder sent me via WhatsApp, I should mention that the prices of the list are written in Tanzanian shillings.
The creation of a new class will facilitate at least 50 new kids. All the receipts and payments will be accessible if someone wants to double-check, you just have to ask me for them via a personal message on messenger or WhatsApp.
