Conquering for Corrie High Girls

I teach at a high school that is situated in an area that is not conducive to teaching and learning because of how social ills inevitably spill into the school. Despite this unfortunate circumstance, the learners soldier on and strive for a better future! Many of the learners are from child-headed homes and lack basic, sanitary necessities. This initiative is in support of girl learners who resort to extreme measures to maintain dignity during their menstrual period. It is meant to curb the absenteeism of girl learners from school due to something beyond their control. The ultimate vision is to break this cycle that so many girls have lived in and change the culture of the school.
