As a result of an accident when I was out biking, and hit by a car, I have an acquired brain injury. This is the accident: http://goo.gl/AJNZt Did you know that TBI (traumatic brain injury) is more common than breast cancer, spinal cord injury, HIV/AIDS, and multiple sclerosis, combined? In the province of Ontario, where there are two million people diagnosed with a neurological condition; 500,000 people have an acquired brain injury (ABI) as a result of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and multiple traumatic brain injuries (mTBI). In a company of 10 people that would be 2 people affected, or 10 people in a company of 40. %a0%a0How large is your company? There is information about this available at this site: http://goo.gl/7VSU5 June has been officially named "Brain Injury Awareness" month in Ottawa. To raise awareness and funds, I am hosting the 2nd annual walk called Conquer Acquired Brain Injury, or CABI.

Rewards

All donors to this event are winners, and the reward is knowing that you've helped an organization whose purpose it is is to give victims of an acquired brain injury, a place that they can call home.
