Campaign Story
Hi
My name is Aidan and I'm running my first ever half marathon to raise funds for Connor, a Scottish rugby player, who suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury leaving him as quadriplegic with no sensation below the shoulders. Four months of fundraising has resulted in over £60,000 being raised, with the money going towards Connor receieving the best rehabilitation possible in the USA and funding for future research. Having myself played rugby for the last 8 years, I feel this is a very worthwhile cause due to the huge debilitataing effect spinal injuries can have on an individual. Any donation is welcomed and I'm sure those of you, especially in the rugby community, will understand the importance of future research.
