Campaign Story
Vision: creating a platform for young leaders to connect and network, be recognize, share ideas, experience with each.
Mission: explorers/motivators/innovators/organizers.
The purpose of these campaign is to raise funds to attend the International festival of youths for SDGs in Cameroon from 6-10 February, 2018. The purpose of these initiative is to recognize and support the role of young leaders in strengthening Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). United Nations world's blueprint for development until 2030.
The main aim of the festival is to bring together young leaders working on Sustainable Development Goals SDGs from different background and culture (diverse) countries to share their experience, knowledge, stories, talents, passion and ideas.
The festival has three main components
i. icommit hub:
It is the flagship program of the festival initiative that will empower young leaders through coursework, leadership training, networking through the festival workshop, young leaders gain skills and connections that accelerate their career and strengthen them. The key goal of the icommit hub in the festival is to create unique opportunities for participants to put their knowledge to practical use in their career, communities and countries.
ii. Global SDGs
Network: open to all young leader all over the world, the network provides virtual resource and vibrant physical spaces to equip young leaders with skills and connections they need to foster change in their communities.
iii. Award:
This initiative is to recognize and appreciate young leader who are working hard to develop and make their communities great. Networking support to a greater number of young leaders that can be reached. The award reach exceptional young leaders between 18 to 35 years from a wide range of backgrounds and diverse experience.
