Concerto fest Europe

Hello everybody,

My name is Dora and I am an oboist and oboe teacher from Croatia. As a musician, I need to constantly improve myself and I am aware that life-long learning is something that is mandatory for me to be successful both as an player and as a teacher. Every new experience means more knowledge and more opportunities for me and for my students as well. The fact that I wasn't able to play nearly as much concerts as usual during the past year, deprived me from the valuable income that usually enables me to educate myself in various seminars and masterclasses. Knowing that, unfortunately, my teaching job salary just isn't enough for that purpose and is usually spent on everyday existence, I decided to present myself here and ask for your kind assistance in achieving my next educational goal.

If the epidemic situation will allow it, I would very much like to participate in the Concerto fest Europe in Bratislava-festival which enables musicians to play classical concerti with the orchestra accompaniment, after an 14 days seminar about performance of the classical period music. The problem is that the total cost of this life changing endeavour is worth few months salary, and therefore is hardly achievable without your help.

Hopefully a better times are coming for the culture in the world, and when they do come, I will remember all of you who were here for me when it was necessary.
