Computers for Children

The Meluv Community has a population of over six thousand inhabitants(6000). It is the largest community in Kumbo.

This community has 12 Nursery and Primary schools and non of these schools has a computer. The sad thing about this is that, more than 99% of children here do not know a computer.

With the increasing sophistication in technology, it rather looks like we are doing these children injustice. Across the globe children as young as five are already working on the computer but in this part of the world we have pupils in the six class who have never seen one.

The future looks bleak for these children given that their future has to be prepared today. If we are not able to set the right pace now for these children it will be very difficult for them.

Providing computers for them means increasing their chances of surviving in the job market. Let us together, work as a family and see these children are not left behind.
