The Computer Educational Program For Development is a project by Northern Volunteers Group (NVG) which seeks to help solve the numerous problems that students, workers and the people of the Northern Ghana- Tamale faces due to lack of ICT/computer knowledge and also to improve the economic and social development through accessibility to internet which will enable them be linked to the rest of the country as well as the world. The project original goal has been to significantly improve the knowledge of children and young people in the northern part of Ghana with computer knowledge in order to make them compete with the other children in the southern part of Ghana.

The objectives of the project includes

Have maximum education in the usage and accessibility to the internet to help the people in Northern Ghana not to be lost from the global age of technology or be cut off from the world.

To improve on the girl child education in the north (computer skills)

To effectively enable children and young people to compete with other students in southern Ghana who are far advance in all aspect of education including ICT Knowledge.

To encourage and support young people to have the ability to learn the computer program and to Assist in given employment for development of Northern Ghana

Donations will indeed help us train these children in computer knowledge.
