Computer science major need a new laptop

I am a full time junior undergraduate student with a full time job attending 15 hours of classes (18 hours in March during 2nd 8 week semester) and working around 35-40 hours a week. My laptop broke down on me suddenly and I needed it to run all of the complicated programs required for my major, my job covers most of my rent and living expenses, and I am still paying off my tuition as I attend university. Right now I am borrowing my friends laptop until the end of Feb. but will not be able to do so afterwards since he will need it in the 2nd 8 week semester, and will not have any spare money to buy a new laptop. I would like some help purchasing a laptop that can run all of the programs I need efficiently for my major so I can succeed in the 2nd half of the semester when my 2nd 8 week classes start and when I will not have my friends laptop to rely on, thanks!
