Computer for a computer science student

Hi everyone. My name is Rafael, I'm 20 years old and I'm a computer science student in Brazil. I started on university in 2017 and until now I've been managing to study with my old pc. But now unfortunately my pc broke, and it is almost impossible to keep up with the software and programming lessons without it.

I am currently unemployed, and I'm not getting any job offers, specially with the pandemic, as here most companies aren't used to remote work. A medium-end computer here is around 750-1000 dollars, and the minimum wage is around 190 dollars. The only job offers I received in the past were for intern, and paid even less than the minimum wage, so things are pretty difficult right now, because even if I get a job I still have others bills to pay and can't buy a new computer.

I'm currently on the 6th semester in university and I still hope to go all the way to become a PhD, so I'm asking for your help to achieve my dream and any value will be a great help for it. I'll answer any questions and I am thankful for all you that can help and those who can't too.
