Competition medics

Hello and thank you so very much for stopping by. Who are we? We are a bunch of hard working NHS Ambulance Paramedics and EMTs who are mainly London based but also have members from the surrounding counties too. Why are we here? We attend scenario based EMS competition rallys around Europebut we are hoping to attend ones in the US and Canada in the near future. These are realistic events with 'live casualties' and are designed to test the competitors knowledge to the maximum. We fund these trips ourselves, paying for flights, registration fees, ancillary equipment, polo shirts and softshell jackets so as you can imagine, these costs soon mount up so any help with these costs would be greatly appreciated. We can pay for polo shirts and softshell jackets as well as off setting the costs of the registrations fees. Why do we do it? Why do we do it indeed! Some would say it's a bit of a bus man's holiday but we say it's an amazing experience which you get to share with members of EMS services from around the world. We also view this as opportunity to train and test as these days, due to operational pressures, we do not get to train with live casualties very often. We also view it as an opportunity to impart knowledge as well as picking on best practise from other countries.  What do we need. Polo shirts, softshell jackets, EMS medical response bags and of course money.
